Hello students and parents. My name is Mr. Dario Palmer, Sr. I teach mathematics at Herbert A. Ammons Middle School and I've also taught at Miami-Dade College. I've been teaching for over 25 years in Miami-Dade County. I'm a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics. I also graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a master's degree in Mathematics Education. I am married to my lovely wife, Dawn, who is also an educator. We have two wonderful children, and one grandson.
I enjoy playing basketball and watching the MIAMI HEAT!!!! If anyone wants to challenge me to a friendly game of one-on-one, BRING IT! I will go easy on you....at first. Then after 5 minutes I will need to catch my breath and take a 20 minute break 
! I have a few favorite movies. My favorite of all time is "Apollo 13". I also like "Spiderman" and "The Matrix". Oh, I forgot about my other favorite.....FINDING NEMO! (I like Finding Nemo more than Finding Dory!) My newest favorite is "Hidden Figures". Excellent movie!!!
My favorite math problem is 2 + 2. (Not sure why).
